As of August the Swine Flu is still taking lives here in San Diego and Flu season is just around the corner. Time to start formulating a battle plan just in case the brown stuff hits the fan.
I have already been making sure that we get plenty of Vitamin D each week. This is actually really hard to do by just going out in the sun. The studies that show that we are Vitamin D deficient are probably very accurate. I am finding it pretty tough to take the time to go be in the sun.
Vitamin D, check, been exercising 2-3 days a week, check and getting lots of fiber, check. Now its time to focus on those Antioxidants.

Tomatoes
Ginger
Red Grapes
Apricots
Garlic
Pinto Beans
Spinach
Walnuts
Tea

Carrots
Cinnamon
Soy
Red Kidney Beans
Whole Grains
Cranberry
According to Dr. Oz you are supposed to ingest 5 servings a day. There is a pretty good variety on this list so it should be easy to get the daily requirement.
